How Much Does Invisalign Cost?
There are many factors that determine the cost of your Invisalign treatment: how extensive the issues are that you want corrected, how long your treatment plan will last, and the specific treatment details prescribed by the doctor.
We accept most major insurance providers, which can offer the benefit of personal reduced costs. We also accept most major credit cars in addition to offering flexible payment plans that fit your budget, and payment arrangements to match your Flex Plan needs.
What Is Invisalign?
The Invisalign system is the virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth and achieve the smile you’ve always wanted. Invisalign uses advanced 3D computer imaging technology to depict your complete treatment plan, from the initial position of your teeth to the final desired position. Then, a series of clear aligners are custom-made for your teeth to move them little by little. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks before being replaced by the next in the series until the final position of your teeth is achieved. Your Invisalign cost and treatment time will be determined by your doctor based on your specific needs.
Invisalign Teen
Why make orthodontic treatment worse then it has to be? Invisalign Teen offers the benefits and results of having braces, without the mouth full of metal and limitations that come with it. These clear aligners are removable, allowing teens to continue enjoying the foods they love like pizza and popcorn. They are also comfortable and durable so they will never get in the way with extracurricular activities or social events such as sports, band practice, prom, or yearbook pictures.
Invisalign Vs. Braces
Although the traditional braces can be slightly cheaper then the Invisalign cost in some cases, Invisalign offers advantages that many of our patients consider priceless. Made to be completely removable whenever necessary, allowing you to continue enjoying your favorite foods and drinks, and making brushing, flossing, and cleaning much easier. These clear aligners are made of smooth plastic for comfort, eliminating bulky and annoying brackets and elastics. They are also extremely durable to reduce your number of orthodontist visits during treatment.
Other Treatment Options
- Traditional metal braces – the most common type, made of high grade stainless steel brackets and archwires.
- Self-ligating braces – made up of the same materials as traditional braces but do not require the use of elastics.
- Ceramic braces – made up of clear materials to blend in with your natural tooth color.
- Lingual braces – hidden behind your teeth making them “invisible” when you smile.
When’s The Right Time?
Early treatment is recommended around age 7 by The American Association of Orthodontists. The goal of early treatment is to evaluate needs, correct the growth of the jaw, and fix certain bite problems. Early treatment also helps to make room for permanent teeth to come in properly, lessening the chance of extractions in the future.
Many adults make the choice to receive treatment because they understand the importance of maintaining their health, and they want to feel better about their appearance. We understand that children and adults have different needs, and require a different level of attention and care. It is never too late to take the right steps to the smile you have always wanted.
